Can Amichien™ Bonding help with any breed of dog?
Yes, because Amichien™ Bonding uses the dog's natural instinct and is, therefore, not breed specific.

What can Amichien™ Bonding do for my dog?
Amichien™ Bonding can help with many dog behaviour problems, for example, separation anxiety, pulling on the lead, aggression, jumping up, barking, chewing the furniture, following you around the house, and many other forms of undesirable behaviour, all of which are linked to your dog believing it is leader.

What is the difference between Amichien™ Bonding and Dog Training?
Amichien™ Bonding is not dog training, we are not training the dog. The dog has been using the language I teach you for centuries, it has just been given a name. It is a holistic natural stress free way of communicating with your dog without the use of any training gadgets. Your dog will want to work with you of ITS OWN FREE WILL.

There are so many other training methods, why use Amichien™ Bonding, what makes it better?
There are other training methods, there are gadget based training i.e. whistles, clickers, electric collars, collars that spray various substances at the dog, collars that emit noise, collars with spikes that stick into the dogs neck. There are also different ways of training the dog, you have the traditional 'make him do it' approach, endless repetition until the dog is bored senseless, then there is the good old walking round in a circle in a church hall with 15 other dogs and a dog trainer. This teaches the dog to walk in a circle with other dogs, usually on leaving the hall most dogs revert to their previous behaviour. These systems work to a greater or lesser degree but one thing is constant, they are all unnatural.

Amichien™ Bonding otherwise known as Canine Communication is understanding your dogs behaviour and working with the dogs natural instincts therefore allowing the dog to use self control.

Why can't my dog learn our language?
It is often believed that we have to train our dogs to our way of thinking, words like obedience or discipline spring to mind, a dog does not understand our language and certainly does not understand being shouted at for doing the 'wrong' thing, all the dog picks up on is your stress level at that particular time.

Amichien™ Bonding is all about communicating with dogs in their own language, after all we are the more intelligent species, why should we expect dogs to live by our logic.

If it is not training, how do I teach my dog right from wrong?
Every time your dog does something right, you reward him and make positive associations, when he does something unacceptable you teach consequence of action. From a dogs perspective, there is no such thing as bad behaviour, it is our perception and what we feel acceptable often distorts our judgment, for example, chewing the furniture when you are not at home actually calms the stress of losing you, dogs are not intentionally badly behaved creatures. If dogs believe they are leader, they are responsible for their pack, but living in a world they do not understand is, not surprisingly, very stressful for them, that stress can manifest itself in many different ways depending on the personality of the dog. By showing the dog leadership, he will no longer need to look after you.

With Amichien™ Bonding being a natural method - can I still train my dog agility or teach him tricks?
Absolutely, Amichien™ Bonding is the foundation on which you can build other activities onto. When your dog chooses to elect you as leader, with this comes respect and trust from your dog, so the additional activities you can do with your dog is endless.

Is the work you do a dog behaviourist or dog psychologist?
No, if anything I am an owner behaviourist, because it is the signals that I teach you the owner when in contact with your dog that will lead you both to a happy and fulfilling life together.

Many behaviourists, dog psychologists or dog trainers control the dogs behaviour, with Amichien™ Bonding we are working with the nature of the dog, we are getting the dog to choose its owner as leader of its own free will and because it believes in you, you can invite the dog to co-operate with you.
